Nestled between the lush Maya Mountains and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, Hamanasi is a special place from which you can explore the best of Belize on and offshore. A secluded, intimate resort located just south of Hopkins, Hamanasi has 17 acres of land with 400 feet of Caribbean Sea beachfront surrounded by sub-tropical flora on the finest stretch of beach in Belize. With a short, two-hour flight from Dallas, Houston or Miami you may let the warm tropical breezes melt away your hectic life for the laid back pace of Belize!

Your daily adventures will begin and end in the casual elegance of Hamanasi Dive & Adventure Resort. You'll be able to kickback and soak in the ocean air in our Great House or by the pool. If you fancy you may take a swim in the warm Caribbean waters or enjoy a tropical cocktail at the bar. Of course, Hamanasi's Dive & Snorkel Center will service you on premises.


Hamanasi features:

  • Spacious, comfortable rooms with an elegant décor, hardwood furnishing and Central American folk art. 8 beachfront rooms and 4 beachfront suites with breathtaking ocean views are currently available. An additional 4 intimate, individual treehouse cabanas raised 12 feet are set in our coastal forest.
  • King or double queen beds, plush linens, air conditioning, ceiling fans, private porches and Mexican tiled bathrooms in all rooms.
  • The Great House, reminiscent of a plantation home, which is the heart of all activity. Currently, it is a one-story building with a veranda with a rooftop providing excellent views. Ultimately, a second floor will be added. Here you will find the lobby, reception, restaurant, bar and wrap-around veranda.
  • Dining indoors or on the veranda overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Delicious menu rich in fresh seafood, pastas and healthy, light dishes. Fresh bread and pastries baked daily. Scrumptious deserts served. Try our fruit salsa or ceviche!
  • Cozy bar with comfortable furnishings ideal for relaxing. Fine wines, champagne, spirits and fresh tropical drinks available.
  • Curved, 50-feet long freshwater pool with brick decking. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels provided.
  • Full service dive and snorkeling center with new equipment and boats.

Low Season: May 24 to Dec 19; excluding Thanksgiving week (Nov 22-30)
Shoulder Season: Jan 5 to Feb 15; Apr 5 to May 23; Nov 22-30 (Thanksgiving week)

REEF & RAINFOREST PACKAGE

This package is ideal for guests who wish to explore Belize's marine and mainland activities or for guests traveling with companions who have divergent interests.

Package features:

  • Accommodation, Continental breakfast and dinner according to the number of nights booked.
  • Roundtrip air transfers from Belize International airport to Dangriga.
  • Roundtrip ground transfers from Dangriga to Hamanasi.
  • Welcome drink upon arrival.
  • Service charge, hotel & sales tax included. Belize departure tax is not included.
  • Tanks, weights and belts included with diving.
  • All prices are in USD and subject to availability, blackout periods and change without notice.
  • Atoll diving and snorkeling upgrades are available!
  • Guests are not refunded for tours not taken or inclement weather.
  • Souvenirs, bar bill, rental equipment and instruction is not included.
