Welcome to Mata Chica, a secluded and exquisite Beach Resort on Northern Ambergris Caye. A tropical dream set on a long stretch of pearly white sand. Each of the fourteen private air-conditioned villas, including two LuxuryCaribbean Villas and our incredible Beach Mansion. You will feel the delicious taste of color in their murals, hand painted by internationally renown artist Lionel Dumas, enhanced by earthy furniture and colorful blankets derived from Mexico and Guatemala, while the spacious bathrooms with living plants create for you the sensation of taking a shower in the jungle.

The new beach-front bar has been designed with our signature thatched roof, exotic loung chairs, billiard table, and intimate lighting.
The award winning MAMBO restaurant on site offers contemporary dishes, lots of seafood and homemade pastas.
