hatch Caye is a "handmade" eco-island only 9 miles from the main town of Dangriga in south-central Belize and two miles inside the Great Western Barrier Reef. Offering superb diving, snorkeling, fishing and birding and within a short 25 minute boat ride to the mainland for any jungle adventure, Thatch Caye offers plenty of activities for everyone.
Guests can stay in one of 4 elegant casitas and 7 cabanas, each raised high in the air and built over water to take advantage of the cooling breezes and wide open water views. All buildings were oriented to the easterly trade winds and the larger casitas included roof decks for vistas and privacy and optional air conditioning. All accommodations feature king beds, spacious baths with hot showers and magnificent ocean views.
